The award ceremony for the best students and HSC examination toppers was held in Ishwarganj

In Ishwarganj, Mymensingh, crest plaques and certificates were distributed among students who received the "Upazila Best Student Award (UBSA)" and the "Higher Secondary Certificate Award (HSCA)." The colorful ceremony was organized by the Upazila Secondary Education Office and held at the Ishwarganj Upazila Parishad Hall at 2:30 PM. Under the Performance-Based Grants for Secondary Institutions (PBGSI) scheme, a total of 30 outstanding students from the years 2022 and 2023 were honored with these awards.

The event was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Sanjida Rahman. Professor Nazrul Haque, APD-1 of the Dhaka Division Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Directorate, attended as the chief guest and gave a speech.

In his speech, Professor Nazrul Haque addressed the students saying, "Today’s honor is a recognition of your hard work and intelligence. This achievement will further inspire you on your future path. You are the future of the country, and the Bangladesh of tomorrow will be built by your hands."

In her speech, the chairperson, Upazila Executive Officer Sanjida Rahman, said, "I am very pleased to see these remarkable achievements by the students. The students of Ishwarganj are not only good in academics but are also proving their talents in various fields. The Upazila administration is always by the side of students and will provide all kinds of support to help build their bright future."

The program was conducted by Upazila Academic Supervisor Abu Hanifa Mohammad Asaduzzaman. Special guests included Mymensingh District Education Officer Mohsina Khatun, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Salauddin Biswas, Upazila Jamaat Amir Principal Manjurul Haque Hasan, Upazila BNP Member Secretary Amirul Islam Bhuiyan Moni, and President of Ishwarganj Press Club Md. Abdul Awal. Additionally, heads of various educational institutions in the Upazila, teachers, students, guardians, and dignitaries were present.

Upazila Secondary Education Officer Ashraful Islam expressed gratitude to all attendees and those involved for the successful completion of the event. He expressed hope that this award ceremony would foster greater interest in studies among Ishwarganj students and encourage recognition of their talents.
