Free heart camp for heart patients held at Hemnagar

Gopalpur (Tangail) Representative : A free heart camp for heart patients was held at Hemnagar of Gopalpur upazila of Tangail. Organized by Haque Palliseba Foundation, Hemnagar, the camp provides free treatment and counseling to patients suffering from heart disease, bypass surgery, open heart surgery, heart block and angioplasty-related problems.

The former assistant professor of cardiac surgery department of Dhaka PG Hospital was present as the chief doctor in this camp which started in the area adjacent to Haque Palliseva Foundation on Friday morning. Noor Uddin Mohammad Jahangir. He guides the patients regarding health check-ups, necessary consultations and further treatment plans. Residents express their satisfaction by receiving direct advice from expert doctors.

According to the organizers, this initiative has been taken with the aim of increasing awareness about heart disease in rural areas and detecting the disease at an early stage. At least 70 patients received free medical care in the camp. Many patients get a detailed understanding of various heart tests and risks for the first time.

Hemnagar Union BNP President Golam Roz Talukder, Vice President Aminul Islam and Abdur Rashid, UP member Jasim and local dignitaries were present at this time. Besides, Mozammel Haque, the founder of Haque Palliseva Foundation, said that such health care programs will continue for the helpless and underprivileged people in the future.

According to the locals, such free medical camps are very helpful for the rural population. They said that many people have benefited from quick advice especially for complex problems like heart disease.
