Kurigram Correspondent: Winter clothes have been distributed among 7,47 poor families in Ulipur, Kurigram. The distribution of winter clothes was done on Wednesday (December 24) afternoon in Gunaigach Union of the upazila with the funding of Muslim Aid UK Bangladesh Country Office and implementation of Ulipur Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity. ‎ ‎With their cooperation, winter clothes were also distributed in Bazra Union of the upazila last Tuesday. Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Mehedi Hasan, Upazila Cooperative Officer and Gunaigach Union Administrator KM Masudur Rahman, Union Land Assistant Officer Humayun Kabir, UP members Abdullah Al Mamun, Solaiman Ali, Matiar Rahman Shahin, reserved women members Aleya Begum, Syeda Tahmina Begum, Deputy Director of Mahidev Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity, etc. were present at the winter clothing distribution ceremony in Gunaigach Union. ‎ ‎1 blanket, 4 sweaters, 4 monkey caps, 4 pairs of socks, 4 petroleum jelly were distributed to 7,47 families as winter clothing. ‎ ‎At that time, Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Mehedi Hasan said, I sincerely thank Muslim Aid UK and Mahidev Jubo Samaj Kalyan Samity for coming forward to help the cold-stricken people. By getting these winter clothing, the poor cold-stricken people will be able to protect themselves from the severe cold.
