Magura District Commissioner visits child's house with Eid gifts

Magura Correspondent: Magura Deputy Commissioner Md. Ahidul Islam met the family of the child who was raped and murdered while visiting his uncle's house in Magura. Today, Friday (March 21) at 11:00 am, he visited the child's house and took a comprehensive look at the family members. During this time, the family was given Eid gifts, rice and financial assistance. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Abdul Quader, Sreepur Upazila Executive Officer Rakhi Banerjee, Upazila PIO Officer Md. Ruhol Amin, Upazila Deputy Assistant Engineer Amitabh Sarkar and others were present at the time. 

After exchanging views with the child's family, Deputy Commissioner Md. Ahidul Islam told reporters, "You know that we have been monitoring this since that day, we have been in touch with the family since the day Asia was admitted to the hospital. Later, when Asia died and Asia's body was brought, we, the district administration, worked on it with the utmost importance. And our instructions were that all our departments, including our social services and women's departments, are also in touch with the family around the clock." 

Through the Islamic Foundation, we and our Upazila Executive Officer have arranged for prayers in all the mosques. Then, financial assistance has been provided by the Department of Social Services. The Upazila Executive Officer, under his own supervision, has been providing rice for his food from the beginning. In this way, we have been maintaining constant communication. 

Today too, I came and gave a check of 25,000 taka from our Relief and Disaster Management Department, brought 30 kg of rice, and provided them with Eid items for Eid. This family should be able to live comfortably and not face any problems. That is why we are on duty round the clock. 

As you know, his father is a little mentally challenged. We have also thought about getting him a disability card so that his financial problems can be permanently solved. 

We, the district administration, are hopeful that this trial will be conducted with the utmost importance and utmost importance. We are hoping that the investigation process will be completed quickly and that a fair trial and exemplary punishment will be created through the trial process that the people of all Bangladesh will see. And the whole world will see that if such a crime is committed, its punishment is ensured very quickly. We hope that we will see this process very soon. And we are and will be with this family. We will always try. There should be no problem in the family.
