Sports Desk: Nothing has changed because of the coronavirus. The cricketers of the West Indies national team arrived in the capital on the morning of January 10 (Sunday). Then 48 hours passed.

But none of them came in front of the media. Far from going to the field, none of the Caribbeans could even go outside the hotel room. None of them even came in front of the media. How come That coronary fear everywhere. So be extra careful. Now there is a Caribbean fleet at Hotel Sonargaon Pan Pacific, following all corona protocols.

They will have to stay in quarantine for two more days. Later, they will be able to start practicing among themselves from the 14th. Meanwhile, Caribbean cricketers, coaching and supporting staff have been tested for Covid-19 after coming to Bangladesh following the rules. Today (Tuesday) at noon, it has been officially announced that everyone in the West Indies fleet is negative in that test.

The Caribbeans will practice for the first time next Thursday at the BCB Academy ground adjacent to Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. After four days of practice from 14 to 16, the visitors will take part in a warm-up match on January 16 at BKSP. Later, the three-match ODI series started from January 20.
