Mamata-Shahrukh to inaugurate Kolkata International Film Festival

We are hosting the 2021 Calcutta Film Festival, but it will be inaugurated on a small scale.

Therefore, the centenary of this festival is also being celebrated in the year 2020. One of the highlights of this year's festival is a package of pictures by Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini. Last year was Fellini's centenary year. He was born on January 20, 1920. The main attraction of this package is a semi-fiction film called 'The Truth About La Dalche Vita', which was made in 2020.

The film was made by producer Gaia Govini after Fellini's death. As a result, this is the first time this film has been screened in Kolkata. The other four films to be screened are: I Vitaloni (1953), La Dalche Vita (1960), 1/2 or Eight and a Half (1973), Juliet of the Spirits ( 185) and "The Voice of the Moon" (1990). This is his last picture. He died in 1993.
