Entertainment Desk: Bollywood's controversial actress Kangana Ranaut is contesting the Lok Sabha elections this time. Not only did he directly enter politics in this Lok Sabha election, he is also contesting for BJP from Mandi constituency in Himachal.

And recently in an interview to promote it, the actress said that the first Prime Minister of India was not Jawaharlal Nehru, but Netaji. And after this comment of his, the controversy has flared up. Some laughed at his words, some agreed. But in the midst of all this, the BJP candidate proved his words.

Kangana Ranaut posted a screenshot on X. There appears to be an NDTV report written about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his Azad Hind Fauj and government. Sharing the screenshot of that report, Kangana wrote, 'Those who were giving me knowledge about India's first prime minister, please read this screenshot. General knowledge for beginners and also for those who question my education.'

At the same time, Kangana wrote, 'I have written, directed and acted in a film called Emergency. And the story of this film revolves around Netaji and Nehru's family. So please don't enlighten me about it. I speak far beyond your IQ.'

Kangana Ranaut said in an interview that Netaji was our first Prime Minister. In the words of the actress, 'Tell me one thing. Where was the Prime Minister of India when we got independence?'

Kangana is partially right. Because Netaji formed the Azad Hind government on 21 October 1943. He then declared himself Prime Minister, Head of State and War Hero. The Andamans were briefly under the Azad Hind government. Current Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Azad praised the Hind government. Netaji and his Azad Hind Fauj and government were an inspiration to many.
