Sports Desk: The last time he came to the country's home of cricket, there was sadness in his eyes and the sword of ICC ban was on his head. That is why the world's best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could not go to the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur from October 29, 2019.

On the 29th of last month, Shakib was released from all the restrictions imposed by the ICC. However, as he was out of the country, he did not set foot in his beloved kingdom of Bengal on the same day. He returned to the country at midnight on Thursday. After spending three days in between, Shakib went to Sher-e-Bangla today (Monday). From 29 October 2019 to 9 November 2020 - 36 days have passed in between, Bangladesh team has played 14 international matches, which Shakib could not play.

The suspension of several series due to coronavirus lockdown has been a shock to Shakib. Shakib has finally returned to the field after 36 days and has started preparing to return to the national team. But right now there is no camp or series for the national team. The Bangabandhu T20 League will be held at the end of this month. You have to prove your fitness before you can get a game certificate there. Shakib went to Sher-e-Bangla today for that purpose.

BCB has arranged fitness test before the players draft of Bangabandhu T20 League. A total of 113 cricketers will have to take fitness tests in two days. Shakib Al Hasan's name is on the first day. That is why he arrived in Sher-e-Bangla before 10 am today.
