Glimpse of rain in different parts of the country, temperature may rise

News desk: There may be isolated rain in different parts of the country today. Rain is likely at one or two places in four divisions including Comilla region. At the same time, the day and night temperature may rise up to 2 degrees Celsius across the country, said the Meteorological Department. Apart from this, the trend of rain may reduce a little in the next few days, after which the storm will increase again.

On Friday, it rained in various places of Chittagong and Rangpur divisions. Feni has received the highest rainfall of 18 mm during this period. Apart from this, 9 mm of rain has fallen in Tentulia, 2 mm in Maizdicourt and 1 mm in Hatia, said the Meteorological Department.

On Saturday morning, the lowest temperature in the country was 16.5 degrees Celsius in Nikli and Badalgashi. The minimum temperature in Dhaka was 20 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the highest temperature in the country on Friday was 33.7 degrees Celsius in Teknaf.

In the next 24-hour forecast from 9 am on Saturday, meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said that there may be rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder in two places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions along with Comilla region. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky.

At this time, the day and night temperature may increase by 1-2 degrees Celsius across the country, said the meteorologist.

There may be rain with temporary gusty wind or rain with thunder in one or two places of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions on Sunday. Day temperature may remain almost unchanged in Rangpur, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and it may increase by 1-2 degree Celsius in other parts of the country. Night temperature may increase by 1-2 degrees Celsius across the country.

On Monday, two places of Rangpur and Sylhet divisions may experience rain with temporary gusty winds or rain with thunder. Day temperatures may drop slightly and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country. The Meteorological Department has also predicted that there is a trend of rainfall with rain or thunder in the next five days.
