Briefing parade of Manikganj District Police held on the occasion of Jatiya Sangsad election

Manikganj Representative:   On the occasion of the upcoming 12th Parliament Election-2024, a briefing parade was held among the officers and forces engaged in election duties in Manikganj district. This briefing parade was held on Saturday (January 6) at 10:30 a.m. at the Manikganj Police Lines ground organized by the district police. Manikganj Superintendent of Police Mohammad Golam Azad Khan (PPM Bar) presided over the briefing parade and Manikganj District Commissioner and District Returning Officer Rehena Akhtar were present as the chief guest. 

At this time, the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, with the aim of completing the 12th Parliament elections in a free, fair, neutral, acceptable and peaceful manner, gave various important directions to all officers and forces engaged in election duty to maintain law and order and maintain security during the election. do 

Senior officers of the district administration, all senior officers of the district police, district Ansar commanders, officer-in-charges of all police stations and all ranks of officer forces and Ansar members of various police units were present in the said election briefing parade. 

Before this, two separate briefing parades were held at 8 am at Patgram High School ground of Harirampur upazila and at 9.20 am at Singair Thana premises of Singair upazila. Superintendent of Police Mohammad Ghulam Azad Khan was present as the chief guest on both the occasions.

Voting will be held in 516 centers in Manikganj district for the 12th parliamentary elections on January 7. Manikganj District Police has adopted a comprehensive security plan in order to complete the election process in a free, fair, acceptable and impartial manner. Police and Ansar members will be on security duty at each polling station. Moreover, in case of emergency, mobile team and striking team will be engaged in polling station security all the time. District Special Branch in white dress will maintain contact with each center. The learned Judicial Magistrate and the learned Executive Magistrate will be present at all times to monitor the law and order of the polling station.
