Engage in public service, you will get peace: Sheikh Hasina

News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the District Administrators to work sincerely in the service of the people. He said, you will find peace by working on it. The Prime Minister said this at the inaugural function of the three-day Deputy Commissioner (DC) Conference at the Shapla Hall of the Prime Minister's Office at 10 am on Tuesday.

He praised the DCs and said, I have seen a change in you. My father was also in power, I saw. I saw it when I was in the opposition. I traveled all over the country in 1981 and still saw it. After my arrival, the people-oriented attitude and the sincerity to serve the people has been created among the officials, it is commendable. We are public representatives, come for a fixed period, the term is 5 years.

Sheikh Hasina said, you have many responsibilities. Not just working, but public service. It was the Establishment Ministry. I name the Ministry of Public Administration. Names also have a tachir (effect). The responsibility that has been given to you, you have fulfilled with sincerity up to the upazila level. You have proved that people are for people in disaster. You were there even if you weren't by your side in Corona.
