International Desk: From now on, no one will have to pay a fine in Delhi for not wearing a mask in public places. The authorities have taken this decision as the rate of detection of corona has decreased for several days.

The decision to lift the fine was taken at a meeting of the National Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in Delhi. An order has already been given in this regard.

After the increase in the number of corona infections, the government re-introduced the fine of Rs 500 for not wearing a mask in public in Delhi last April.

Meanwhile, only 74 people have been diagnosed with corona in India's capital Delhi on Tuesday. The detection rate is 1.07 percent.

On the other hand, the authorities have decided to demolish the three Covid centers in Delhi and vacate the land due to the decrease in patients. Besides, an initiative has been taken to extend the contract of the contractual staff for the Covid Hospital till the end of the year.

However, the authorities have already warned about constant vigilance of the Covid-19 situation during the festive season. Last August, the Center warned several states including Delhi that infectious diseases including corona may spread during the puja season.
