Boat capsized in Kartoa: 14 more bodies recovered

Al Masud, Panchagarh:  14 more bodies have been recovered in the incident of boat sinking at Auliya Ghat of Kartoa river in Panchagarh. The death toll has increased to 64 people. According to the commission's calculations, about 18 more people are still missing.  

From Tuesday (September 27) morning, 14 more bodies including children were recovered. Among the recovered bodies, 28 were women, 15 were men and 18 were children.

Earlier last Sunday (September 25) at noon, the boat sank while crossing the river by boat to perform Mahalaya Puja. 25 bodies were recovered on the first day of the incident, 25 more on the second day and 14 bodies were recovered on the 3rd day since Tuesday morning.
