International Desk: During the live broadcast of a popular online news channel in the Indian state of Assam, a picture of Pakistan's national flag suddenly appeared on the screen. At that moment, a song about the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) could be heard from behind and a ticker written "Respect the Holy Prophet" floated on the screen. The hackers are believed to have carried out the attack in protest of remarks made by Nupur Sharma, the leader of India's ruling BJP, about Nabiji. According to NDTV, the Pakistan-based hacking group has claimed responsibility for 'Revolution PK'. It is known that these hackers have carried out a cyber attack on the YouTube platform of Indian Channel Times 8. The digital news network has more than 6 million followers on YouTube. Its videos are viewed more than 60 crore times a month on average. On June 9, during a news program, hackers disrupted breaking news. Utpal Kant, founder and managing editor of Times 8, said: "This is an act of cyber terrorism and we strongly condemn this incident. We are also concerned about issues related to national security. ” The Times Network has alerted authorities and has lodged a complaint with Guwahati police. The allegation is currently being investigated. The Indian government has come under fire from several Muslim countries for making controversial remarks about recently ousted BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and another leader of the party, Naveen Kumar Jindal Mahanabi. Nupur was sacked for six months and Jindal was expelled from the BJP. Worshipers also protested in different states of India.
