Entertainment desk: Vocalist Alif Alauddin has gone to India for treatment. But there was an accident. Injured seriously. The news was reported by her husband, guitarist Kazi Faisal Ahmed.

On Saturday night (March 19), Faisal posted a status on Facebook stating that Alif had fallen under the hospital on his way back after dialysis on March 10 and had received a serious injury.

Alif Alauddin has been suffering from polycystic kidney disease for several years. Both his kidneys have lost 90 percent of their function. The singer has gone to Chennai, India for treatment.

Describing the accident, Faisal wrote, "After dialysis, I was waiting for a taxi in front of the gate below the hospital. Alif was by my side. Suddenly he shouted. I turned around and saw Alif throwing his hand bag and falling. But at that moment I noticed that the steel grille in front of him would hit him in the head. I managed to stop it with my hand, but it fell on the thin grill of the railing. Eyes and forehead were injured. He has no sense since then. Lying in front of me and trembling. Eyes up, face curved, elbows ache. Then for a while I thought, his soul is out of the body. The guard of the hospital shouted and took him to the emergency room on a stretcher. '

Regarding the subsequent events and the current state of Alif, Faisal added: Blood thinner is given during dialysis. Blood has come and swelled in the places where he was in pain. Alif then spent three days in the ICU. CT scan, MRI, EEG, Echo and ECG tests have been done. Currently seeing ophthalmologist. Urologists, neurologists and nephrologists are all checking reports one by one and reporting the next steps. With the help of doctors, Alif is much better now. However, there are still many complications. In the next three months, after taking the medicine, I will have to go and see the doctor again. '

Faisal said Alif is currently undergoing dialysis three days a week, two injections and medication.

Alif Alauddin is the daughter of the late Alauddin Ali, a legendary composer and music director. He performed songs as well as on television.
