On May 20 of that year, Boris Johnson had a garden party with 40 people at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister.

According to the broadcaster ITV, the guests were invited via email. They saw that email. Johnson hosted a garden party called "Bring Your Own Alcohol."

However, according to British government rules, only two people could be at home at the time to prevent coronavirus infection. Bars, restaurants are all closed. And that's when Johnson did this party.
