Congratulations to the Tigers from the President-Prime Minister

Sports Desk: The President congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team on winning the first Test on New Zealand soil. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

In a separate message to the media on Wednesday (January 5th), they congratulated everyone involved, including the players, coaches and managers.

The President and the Prime Minister hoped that the Tigers' winning streak would continue in the future as well.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the first Test of the series by 8 wickets at the Bay Oval in Mount Munganui. This is the Tigers' first win in any format on New Zealand soil. The Kiwis lost after 16 Tests unbeaten at home.

Bangladesh went ahead 1-0 in the two-match series with this victory. Pello also saw the first point in the Test Championship.
