Trading is on a downward trend in the price index

News Desk: The country's main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the other market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) prices are trading in a downward trend.

This information has been known from DSE and CSE sources on Sunday this week. DSEX, the main price index of DSE, is down 21 points at 6,748 points till 11:20 pm today. Among the other two indices, the DS30 index is down 18 points and the DSES or Shariah index is down 8 points at 2569 and 1455 points respectively.

During the day, 143 companies traded higher and 184 traded lower on the DSE. Besides, prices of 53 companies remained unchanged.

On the other hand, the overall index CASPI on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) decreased by 161 points. At the same time, the index stood at 19,913 points.
