Hili land port closed for import and export for 6 days holiday

Dinajpur Correspondent: On the occasion of Bangla New Year Pahela Baishakh and Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, import and export will be closed at Hili land port due to 6 consecutive days holiday from April 9 to April 14. It will be operational from April 15. However, even during the holidays, Heli Immigration Checkpost will be open for passport holders. 

Mostafizur Rahman, general secretary of Hili land port import and export group, said that due to those two festivals, import and export activities will be closed at Hili port for 6 days from Tuesday, April 9 to Sunday, April 14. After the holiday, import-export activities will resume from Monday, April 15. They have informed the Indian Healy Export and Customs Clearing Association, Bangla Healy Customs, Healy's private operator Panama Port Limited, Healy C&F agent and import-export related parties about the holiday at the port.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Ashraful Islam, in-charge of Heli Immigration Checkpost, said that even though import and export at the port will be closed during the holiday, the travel of passport holders will be kept as usual.
