News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 214 new dengue patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the country. Of these, 183 people were admitted to various government and private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and 51 people were admitted to various hospitals outside Dhaka. At the same time, two more people have died in the last 24 hours.
According to the Department of Health, most of the patients admitted to the hospital due to dengue are residents of the capital. This year, 63 people have died due to dengue.
This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Monday (September 26) afternoon.
In the last 24 hours, 214 new people have been admitted to various hospitals across the country due to dengue. At present, the total number of patients admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country stands at 979.
There are 756 people admitted in 45 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 231 people in different hospitals of other departments.
According to the report, a total of 16,561 patients have been admitted to the hospital from January 1 this year to today (September 28). Among them, 18,519 patients have been discharged from the hospital. Dengue has killed 83 people at this time.
