Youth arrested in Chittagong with fake NID card and equipment

News Desk: RAB-7 arrested Pradeep Das (28), a member of a fraudulent gang, with fake NID card and card making equipment in a raid in Chandgaon area of ​​Chittagong city.

He was arrested on Sunday (September 26th) night from a shop called Hashem Telecom in the Chandgaon area of ​​Chittagong city.

RAB-7 Senior Assistant Director (Media) said. Nurul Abshar said, "I came to know through secret news that Pradeep Das has been illegally using his personal computer to create fake national identity cards, birth certificates and citizenship certificates of Union Parishad in the name of different people." Later on Sunday night, Pradeep Das was arrested from a shop called Hashem Telecom.

He further said that the detainee Pradeep had confessed to making various types of certificates including fake national identity card during the preliminary interrogation. His shop was searched and fake NID card was seized.

Besides, various tools used in making NID cards and fake certificates were also seized. Pradeep had been committing such frauds and forgeries through his used computer for a long time.
