In Chittagong, 3 more people died in Corona, 36 identified

News Desk: In the last 24 hours in Chittagong, 3 people have died due to coronavirus infection. At this time, 36 people have been identified as newly infected with corona.

The information came from a report released by the Chittagong District Civil Surgeon's Office on Monday (September 26). On Sunday, 32 people were identified as corona and one died.

The district civil surgeon said. Rabbi Sheikh Fazle said the coronavirus was found in the bodies of 36 people after testing samples from 1,083 people in 10 labs in Chittagong. 25 of them are residents of Chittagong city. The rest are from different upazilas. In the last 24 hours, the corona detection rate is 3.35 percent.

Among the upazilas, 2 were affected in Anwara, 6 in Raozan, 2 in Fatikchhari and 1 in Sitakunda. No new cases of corona were reported in Lohagara, Satkania, Banshkhali, Patia, Chandnaish, Boalkhali, Rangunia, Hathazari, Mirsarai and Sandwip.

So far 1 lakh 1 thousand 630 corona have been identified in Chittagong. Among the identified, 63,614 are residents of Chittagong city. The remaining 26,017 are from different upazilas.

In the last 24 hours, two city dwellers have died in Chittagong. And an out-of-town resident. A total of 1,293 people have died in Chittagong so far. Of these, 614 died in Chittagong city and 589 died in different upazilas.

The first corona patient was identified in Chittagong on April 3 last year. Then on April 9, the first person to die from the virus.
