Another 254 people have been admitted to hospitals in the country due to dengue

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 254 new dengue patients have been admitted to different hospitals in the country. Of these, 198 were admitted to various government and private hospitals in the capital Dhaka and 56 to various hospitals outside Dhaka.

According to the Department of Health, most of the patients admitted to the hospital due to dengue are residents of the capital. This year, 59 people have died due to dengue.

This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Thursday (September 23) afternoon.

In the last 24 hours, 254 new people have been admitted to various hospitals across the country due to dengue. At present, the total number of patients admitted to various government and private hospitals in the country stands at 1,049.

636 people are admitted in 45 government and private hospitals in Dhaka and 213 people are admitted in different hospitals of other departments.

According to the report, a total of 16,605 patients have been admitted to the hospital from January 1 this year to today (September 23). Among them, 15,596 patients have recovered and left the hospital. Dengue has killed 59 people at this time.
