 Broadcast of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 may face disruption for 8 days

CNI Desk: Broadcast of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 may face disruptions for eight consecutive days from September 29, 2021 to October 6, 2021 because of sun outage.

In a statement on Tuesday, Bangladesh Satellite Company Ltd (BSCL) has sought advance apology for unusual disruption of satellite due to this natural calamity.

On September 29 and September 30, 2021, the disturbance of the satellite may start at 9:34 am, 9.31 am and end at 9.39 am, 9.41 am with 5 seconds and 10 seconds duration, BSCL said. 

 

On 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th October, 2021 the disruptions of the satellite will begin and end from 9:29 am to 9.43 am, from 9:28 am to 9.43 am, from 9:28 am to 9.43 am, from 9:28 am to 9.42 am, from 9:28 am to 9.40 am and from 9:29 am to 9.39 am, respectively, it added.
