Rainfall will decrease across the country, temperature may rise

News Desk: The tendency of rainfall in the country will decrease a bit. In this context, the daytime temperature may rise slightly in the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said.

It rained more or less all over the country in the last 24 hours from 8 am on Sunday (September 19) to 8 am on Monday (September 20). However, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions in the north received less rainfall. Barisal, Khulna and Chittagong divisions received heavy rainfall.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Monday said light to moderate rain with thundershowers in many parts of Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions, some parts of Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and a couple of places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. During this time, daytime temperatures are expected to rise slightly across the country and nighttime temperatures are expected to remain almost unchanged. The highest temperature in the country on Sunday was in Rajshahi at 34.5 degrees Celsius.
