2 Dead, 50 were identified in Corona at Chittagong

News Desk: Two people have died in Chittagong in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus infection. The total death toll in the district stood at one thousand 261 people. During this period, 50 people have been identified as infected with corona. As a result, the total number of identified people in the district is one lakh one thousand 265 people.

The information came from a report released by the Chittagong Civil Surgeon's Office on Sunday (September 19) morning.

Dr. Civil Surgeon. Rabbi Sheikh Fazle said that in the last 24 hours, samples of 1,071 people were tested in different labs of Chittagong and corona germs were detected in the bodies of 50 people. Of these, 30 are from the city and 20 from the upazila.

He added that in the last 24 hours, 13 people in Chittagong University Lab, six in Fauzdarhat BITID Lab, 11 in Chittagong Veterinary University Lab and two in Chevron Hospital Lab were diagnosed with corona.

At the same time, eight coronary infections were detected in Chittagong Maternal and Child Hospital Lab, three in General Hospital RTRL Lab, three in Epic Health Care Lab and four in antigen test.
