Aman farmers are now busy in planting aromatic brie paddy-34 in Kaharol due to the desired rains in the last week of Shravan. Due to good yield and price of paddy in Boro season, the farmers have resorted to aman cultivation this time.

Farmer Md. Mofiz Uddin said he is cultivating 34 varieties of fragrant brie paddy in 12 bighas of land. Kaharol Agricultural Extension Department Agriculture Officer Abu Zafar. Sadeq said the agriculture department is providing all kinds of assistance and advice to the farmers in aman cultivation.
