The rest of the IPL schedule will be published, 31 matches in 27 days

Sports Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to hold the rest of the IPL anyway. The BCCI had earlier said that the remaining half of the IPL would be completed just before the T20 World Cup. This time the Indian Cricket Board showed its formality by announcing the schedule.

The rest of the IPL will be held in 28 days. A total of 31 matches will be held in these 28 days. The rest of the IPL will start on September 19. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians to face on the same day. In the second match, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore will meet in Abu Dhabi on September 20.

According to the BCCI on Sunday evening, the last match of the group stage will be played on October 8. The first qualifier will be on October 10. Eliminator will be on October 11. The second qualifier will be held on October 13. Then the final will be on October 15. The venue of the final is Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

According to the BCCI, seven double-headers will be held in the UAE. There were five 'double headers' in India. As before, the first match of the day will start at 4 pm. On the other hand, the night match will start at 8 pm.

Dubai has been given the responsibility of organizing the most matches in the second phase. There will be 13 matches. There will be 10 matches in Sharjah and eight matches in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi did not get any match in the knock-out stage. Dubai and Sharjah got two knock-out matches each. The first qualifier and final will be in Dubai. Sharjah is in charge of organizing the Eliminator and the second qualifier.

This time 29 matches were held in the first phase of IPL. After that, Corona attacked the bio-bubble of IPL. The BCCI was forced to close the IPL after several cricketers were attacked by Corona.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had earlier said that the remaining matches would be played in the UAE under the changed circumstances. In the meantime, the Indian board hopes that even before the T20 World Cup, most foreign players will be able to stay in the second round of the IPL.
