International Desk: Two people have been killed in an explosion outside a church in Indonesia. In addition, 14 more people were reported injured. The bomber struck shortly after 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the town of Makassar, according to Al Jazeera.
It is suspected to be a suicide attack. A spokesman for the country's police said the attack took place during a public prayer service inside the church. The blast damaged vehicles near the building. Police have cordoned off the area. The spokesman added that two suicide bombers were killed in the blast.
However, he is not sure whether the limbs scattered on the spot belonged to the attackers. An investigation is currently underway. He added that the two attackers had high levels of explosives. CCTV footage showed a bomb blast. However, he said the church was not harmed.
The church's pastor, Father Wilhelms Tulak, said the suspected bombers were trying to enter the church on motorcycles. But security personnel stopped him. Then the explosion happened.
