Finally get released, Bangladesh cricket team in Queenstown

Sports Desk: The report of the 4th Corona Test of all the members and supporting staff of the Bangladesh cricket team visiting New Zealand has come negative. After receiving the report, all the members and supporting staff of the Bangladesh team have been allowed to move freely to New Zealand.

Before the end of the 14-day quarantine period, Bangladesh gave the fourth corona test on March 8. As everyone is negative about this, the Bangladesh team is being released from isolation and quarantine in Christchurch today. A senior BCB official confirmed the matter.

Jalal Yunus, chairman of the BCB media committee, who is currently with the Bangladesh team on a tour of New Zealand, said: "We are pleased with the New Zealand management involved in our co-operation in isolation and quarantine," he said. Under New Zealand rules, people can move freely at the end of a 14-day quarantine.

So as per the rules, Bangladesh can still move freely anywhere. Despite having a tough biosecurity zone in any tournament or series in their country, the Bangladesh team has not got such an opportunity before. At the end of this 14-day compulsory quarantine period, Bangladesh left Christchurch for Queenstown this afternoon.

They will camp for five days in this city. The Tigers will arrive in Dunedin on March 17 after the camp. The ODI series will start on March 20 at the University of Otago in Dunedin. The second ODI of the series will be held on March 23 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.

The third and final ODI of the series will be played on March 26 at the Basin Reserve in Wellington. The first and third ODIs will start at 4 am Bangladesh time. The second ODI will start at 8 am Bangladesh time.

The first match of the T20 series will start at 8 am Bangladesh time on March 26 at Sedan Park in Hamilton. The next two T20 matches will be played on March 30 and April 1. The last two T20s will start at 12 noon Bangladesh time.
