Sports Desk: The Bangladesh national cricket team will leave Christchurch for Queenstown tomorrow (Wednesday) after 14 days of strict quarantine in New Zealand. The Tigers will be training in Queenstown, a city of natural beauty, from March 11.

Needless to say, despite arriving in New Zealand on February 24, the entire team has yet to practice together. The practice was so far away, the whole fleet could not be together. After failing three Corona Tests in the first six days, Jim had the opportunity to practice on the seventh and eighth day, but the whole team did not have a chance to get together.

We had to leave the hotel in small groups. Team Bangladesh will reunite on Wednesday at 3 pm. At noon, everyone will leave the Christchurch team hotel at checkout time and go to another hotel. After staying and resting for a couple of hours, we flew to Queenstown.

Later, on March 11 (Thursday), the whole team will practice together in Queenstown. There is more good news for the Tigers in Queenstown tomorrow. Spin bowling coach Daniel Vettori is joining the team after a long absence. Vettori will join the team in his hometown of Auckland in Queenstown tomorrow evening.

Team Bangladesh chef The Mission Jalal Yunus said Vettori will join the team in Queenstown. Jalal added that the entire team was scheduled to leave for Queenstown in Vettori today before leaving for Queenstown. Later that changed. According to Jalal, Vettori will join the team a day late due to strict coroner protocol. Needless to say, Vettori has had no ties to the team since the corona outbreak in March last year.

Although he was supposed to come to Bangladesh a few times for coaching, it was not possible due to the strict corona protocol of New Zealand. This time, Vettori will coach the spinners of Bangladesh on his own soil. The Kiwi spin specialist will work with the team until the end of the Tigers' T20 series on the New Zealand tour.

Jalal said corona laws are strict in New Zealand. The Corona Protocol is very strict for Kiwis as well as foreign travelers. Leaving New Zealand and setting foot in this country is a risk to the state. Note that Vettori has a daily salary of two and a half thousand dollars. Agreement to work 100 days a year with BCB. He has not been able to do a single day in the last year.

This time the Kiwi spin coach will be able to serve the team for 21-22 days. Meanwhile, a practice match has been added to the 5-day camp in Queenstown. Jalal Yunus told Jago News that the national team will play a practice match on the sixth day after the five-day training camp. Then he will go to Dunedin on March 16. The first ODI is on March 20 in that city.
