News desk: The United States has blockaded the ports of Iran in anger of closing the Strait of Hormuz. The Tehran government is not taking this matter well at all. Mohsin Rezai, a member of the country's expediency council and former IRGC commander, issued a stern threat.
Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported that Rezaei called the US naval blockade a "step of war" in a speech on Iranian state television.
He said, we are advising the US military to lift the blockade. Otherwise Oman Sea can become your graveyard.
Rezaei claimed that the US naval blockade against Iran is making the international situation more complicated and will have an impact around the world. He said, the longer the naval blockade on Iran is, the more the damage to the countries of the world will increase.
Recently, US-Iran tensions have reached a new level over the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman. As a result, concerns about the global energy market and international trade are also increasing. Iran currently controls this important sea route.
