New instructions have been issued regarding the syllabus for the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations. For irregular and improvement candidates, the 2026 examinations will be conducted according to the revised syllabus of 2025. All education boards and concerned authorities have been asked to take necessary steps in this regard. This information was revealed in a letter from the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).
On Thursday (11 December), the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Education issued a letter instructing relevant authorities to take action on the matter.
The letter states that the 2025 HSC, equivalent, and Alim examinations were held based on the revised syllabus provided by NCTB. For the 2026 HSC, equivalent, and Alim examinations, irregular/improvement candidates will be assessed based on the same revised syllabus issued by NCTB for the 2025 examinations.
