Primary and Mass Education Advisor Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar has stated that students will receive all their textbooks at the beginning of January next year, noting that many books have already reached the district level.
He made the remarks on Saturday after a seminar at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Bhola, which focused on strategies for completing infrastructure construction under the PEDP-4 and demand-based government primary school development projects.
Dr. Poddar said, “Teachers are the key figures in primary education. They provide the core teaching. We have always worked to improve their conditions. We have granted 10th grade to headteachers of primary schools and are trying to provide 11th grade to assistant teachers. We hope to succeed.”
He added that instructions have been issued to repair primary schools that will serve as polling centers.
