Special army checkpoint on Bogra highway for the safety of long-distance travelers

Bogra Correspondent:   Bangladesh Army is operating a special check post on the Bogra highway to ensure safe night travel for long-distance passengers. At 10 pm on Sunday, army members started the operation of this special check post at the Mokamtala bus stand area on the Dhaka-Rangpur highway, which will be operated at different points on the highway every day from now on.

At this special checkpoint, army personnel led by the camp commander are checking long-distance vehicles and ensuring the safe journey of ordinary passengers. In addition to warning vehicles moving recklessly on the highway, the checkpoint focuses on bringing disorderly groups under the law and recovering drugs and weapons. 

The concerned said that the Bangladesh Army is working with professionalism and sincerity to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the common people. The recent incidents of unwanted robberies in long-distance buses have created a fear across the country which is never desirable. Therefore, to provide relief to the passengers, members of the Army's Bogra camp will regularly operate check posts on the highway, which has started strongly from Sunday. Although their continuous operation against the criminals is ongoing.
