Sports Desk: Just a few more hours. The fate of many cricketers will be decided in the IPL auction. Someone will be a millionaire, someone will break the hope. The auction of the best franchise league in world cricket will start at 3:30 pm today (Thursday) in Chennai.

The show will be broadcast live on Star Sports. A total of 1114 cricketers registered for the auction. From there, the teams selected 292 people. The auction will be with them. However, in the list of players of the teams, there is only a quota of 22 foreign cricketers left.

At least 108 of the 127 foreign cricketers will not get a team. There are four cricketers from Bangladesh in the auction. They are Shakib Al Hasan, Mostafizur Rahman, Mahmudullah Riyadh and Mohammad Saifuddin.

Among them, Shakib Al Hasan and Mostafizur Rahman have a strong chance to get the team, but the other two have very low chances. Shakib has the highest base price of Rs 2 crore in the auction. Mostafiz has a base price of Rs 1 crore. Mahmudullah is in the category of base price of Rs 75 lakh, Saifuddin in the category of Rs 50 lakh. Shakib-Mostafiz will be named at the beginning of the IPL auction.

Shakib's name is in the 2nd set of the auction, Mostafiz is in the 4th set. So they are more likely to get the team. Saifuddin is in set number 19, Mahmudullah's name will appear in set number 32. The quota of foreign cricketers of the teams is about to end. The names of the cricketers in the next set will be auctioned only if the quota is left and a team shows interest.
