Walton 3rd Josephite Entrepreneurs’ Den: Conducted as Promised

News Desk: The most anticipated business festival of the year came to an end after putting out a week-long event filled with 18 contests divided into 31 segments, inviting students from all mediums, groups, and institutions, and last but not least, honoring the glorious champions and runner-ups with 150+ certificates and crests. The labor of all the dedicated members of Josephite Business Club was rewarded with fruitful results. Yes, this was Walton 3rd Josephite Entrepreneurs’ Den, conducted as promised.

The event kicked off on January 14th, 2021, with an opening ceremony filmed directly from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School’s internal Studio and was broadcasted live on Facebook. The ceremony included the President of BASIS and Director of FBCCI, Syed Almas Kabir as the Chief Guest, The School’s Principal, and Josephite Business Club’s Chief Patron Dr. Br. Leo James Pereira, CSC, Vice Principal Br. Chandon Benedict Gomes, CSC, and Josephite Business Club’s Chief moderator Jasmin Akhter. 

Right after the ceremony, all of the contests began as scheduled. Olympiad participants had their questions sent to their emails, Presentation based segments were completed via participants and judges joining a StreamYard link and were also broadcasted live on Facebook for spectators to enjoy, Ad illustrations and TV Commercials were posted on the pages of Josephite Business Club and Josephite Entrepreneurs’ Den for everyone to view. 

Some of the memorable contests, such as ‘Sell Me This’ where contestants were clashing with their ability to convince and sell a particular product, was received extremely well by everyone. ‘Business Project Idea’ and ‘Brand Identity Development’ displayed the jaw-dropping potential of future entrepreneurs. ‘Risk management’ was a showcase of just how great the participants were at managing something as complex as a football team under so many complications.

After 7 days, on January 20th, 2021, the event was done with wrapping up all of its segments with 100% succession. A memorable Ending Ceremony, held through StreamYard, to conclude all of it was simply a cherry on the top. Speeches were delivered by the Principal, Vice Principal, Club’s Chief Moderator, and Club President, and after all, the names of the champions and runners-up from each segment were announced.
