Meeting of the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar

News Desk: Bangladesh's Ambassador to Qatar Md. Jasim Uddin met with Ambassador Ibrahim Fakru at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday morning. During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed with the Head of State the issues related to the interests of the Bangladeshi community, especially the return of stranded Bangladeshis to Qatar.

To highlight the importance of the issue, Ambassador Jasim Uddin briefed Ambassador Ibrahim Fakru on various issues including financial hardships of the stranded expatriates. Realizing the importance of the main issue of the state, he immediately drew the attention of the concerned authorities. The meeting focused on meetings at the Foreign Ministry level and exchange of visits at the political high level with a view to strengthening the existing friendly relations between the two countries.

In addition, consular services, administrative matters and infrastructure of the embassy, ​​especially parking facilities for those receiving services at the embassy were also discussed. Embassy Counselor (Political and Economic) Md. Mahbur Rahman was present at the meeting.
