Quick decision on HSC and other examinations - Cabinet Secretary

News Desk: Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam has said that the Ministry of Education and Primary and Mass Education will take a quick decision on HSC, eighth and fifth class final examinations.

The information was given by the cabinet secretary during a briefing of the cabinet meeting at the secretariat on Monday (August 24). A virtual cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister from the Ganobhaban side and Ministers from the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat.

Asked whether the meeting had taken any decision on HSC, Class VIII JSC-JDC and Class V final examination PEC, the cabinet secretary said, "They have discussed the Ministry of Education, Primary Education and Madrasa and Technical Education." The Ministry of Education is discussing HSC or other exams. They will see, they will make a decision quickly. '

‘The Secretary (Primary and Mass Education) also spoke to the press yesterday. However, it does not seem to us that the school-college is yet to open. But they are thinking very strongly about the test, how to do it. '

Asked if a summary had been sent to the Prime Minister from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on the preliminary completion, Khandaker Anwarul Islam said, "No, it is beyond my knowledge."

The cabinet secretary said that approval has been given to take the exams of Qawmi Madrasa.
