Formar captain Mashrafee tests negative for Coronavirus

CNI Desk: Former national ODI’s skipper Mashrafee bin Mortaza revealed that he was tested COVID-19 negative on Tuesday.

"Assalamu Alaikum. Hope everybody is well.Alhamdulillah. By the grace of Allah and the prayers of all of you, the result of my coronavirus test has been negative. I got to know the results tonight. Gratitude to all those who have been by my side all this time, who have prayed, many who have been anxious and have sought or tried to get my information in various ways," Mashrafe wrote on his official Facebook.

Mashrafee added that his wife Sumana Haque Sumi is yet to recover from the virus but she is fine by the grace of Allah.

 

"More than two weeks after being identified, my wife's coronavirus test results are still positive. But with the blessings of all, she is fine. I am seeking all of your prayers for her," he said adding that he had recovered by staying home in isolation.

"I have recovered from the treatment at home. Those who have been attacked, everyone should have the courage. Put your trust in Allah. Follow the rules. Everyone stay and sound. Together we must continue to fight the coronavirus. May Allah help everyone," Mashrafe concluded.

Mashrafee, who was tested corona positive on June 20 tested positive for coronavirus for the second time in a span of 15 days.

Earlier, the Narail Express Mashrafe, also a ruling party lawmaker from Narail-2 constituency was tested positive for the contagion virus on June 20 for the first time. On July 4 he again underwent a test but unfortunately, he found him positive again.

His wife Sumana Haque Sumi and younger brother Morsalin Bin Mortaza were tested positive but both are doing well and taking treatment from home.
