We have our own production, but it is not enough to win the war. And I think it's not even enough to survive (in combat). US President-elect Donald Trump has been a staunch critic of the billions of dollars in financial and military aid that President Joe Biden's administration has given Ukraine since the Russian invasion began in 2022, AFP reports.

During the election campaign, President Trump repeatedly promised to end the war quickly. But he did not detail how he would do that. President Biden recently authorized Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles to strike inside Russia. But this decision has been strongly criticized by Trump's allies. They even accused Biden of dangerously escalating tensions in the Ukraine war.

President Zelensky told Fox News in an interview that "unity" between Ukraine and the United States is "of the utmost importance." He claimed that Trump could influence Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war, "because he is much stronger than Putin". He added that Putin "could agree and end this war, but it's very much up to the United States." The combined area of ​​the Russian-occupied parts of these four provinces is one-fifth of the total territory of Ukraine.
