International Desk: An explosion was heard on Thursday night in the Caesarea area, the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli media reported this with reference to Lebanon's Al-Ahed News website. According to the report of the media, the explosion was caused by Hezbollah's drone attack.
Several other Israeli media outlets say Netanyahu has been living in a "secure basement" since a drone attack by the Lebanese Islamist resistance movement Hezbollah last October. Israel's Channel 12 reported that the drone was launched from Lebanon, traveled 70 kilometers directly to Netanyahu's home.
Smoke from the explosion was visible from a distance. A source told Israel's Channel 12 that Netanyahu and his wife were not present at their home at the time of the explosion. Earlier on October 19, a drone flying from Lebanon hit Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea, north of Israel's capital, Tel Aviv. Netanyahu and his wife were not there at the time. Therefore, there were no casualties in the Hezbollah drone attack.
