International Desk: A car has crushed pedestrians in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. At least nine people died. The police said so. According to the police, the accident happened around 9:30 pm local time on Tuesday. BBC news.

A man drove his car into pedestrians waiting at a traffic stop, Yonhap news agency reported. At least four people were taken to hospital. Police say they are investigating the incident. But warned that the number of casualties may increase.

According to local media reports, the car was traveling in the wrong direction. It hit two other cars before crushing the pedestrians. According to a recent report, the speed limit for driving on normal urban roads in South Korea is 50 km/h. In residential areas this limit is 30 km.
