International Desk: The aggression of the Israeli forces in Gaza is not stopping. More than 36,000 Palestinians have lost their lives there so far. More than 82 thousand people were injured. Millions of people have become homeless.

The shortage of safe shelter, water and food is becoming more and more acute. Innocent Palestinians are being attacked by Israeli forces wherever they seek shelter. These homeless people do not know where they will go now.  Meanwhile, President Biden has confirmed that Israel is ready to proceed with the terms it has now offered to Hamas.

He also said that the United States, Egypt and Qatar are committed to the full implementation of the entire agreement. Hamas fighters battle Israeli troops throughout the besieged city of Rafah. In addition, the bombing of southern and central Gaza continues. Gaza's Hamas-controlled health ministry said 36,479 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks.

Besides, another 82 thousand 777 people were injured. Earlier, a new ceasefire plan was announced to end the ongoing war in Gaza. If Hamas agrees to this, the United States hopes that Israel will also accept it. The spokesman of the country's National Security Council, John Corby, said this. US President Joe Biden unveiled the ceasefire plan last week. It has been said that the ceasefire will be implemented in three phases. The first phase will begin with a six-week ceasefire.

During that time, Israeli troops will be withdrawn from populated areas of Gaza, and humanitarian aid will be provided. The plan also calls for an exchange of prisoners and hostages between Hamas and Israel.  Although the United States expressed hope that Israel would agree to this ceasefire proposal, some members of the Israeli cabinet have already taken a position against it.

The cease-fire proposal came as the Israeli military intensified its airstrikes on the Gaza city of Rafah. All of Rafah's 36 shelters are now empty after being forced to flee under attack, according to UNRWA, the United Nations agency that works for Palestinian refugees. The plan also calls for an exchange of prisoners and hostages between Hamas and Israel.
