International Desk: The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah launched a massive drone attack on the headquarters of the Israeli military's Galilee Formation. It is not known if anyone was injured in these attacks.
However, after the attack, many parts of northern Israel were seen burning. Hezbollah has been carrying out drone attacks on Israel since last October. But this is the first time the Iran-backed group has announced a squadron of drone strikes. Air raid sirens sounded in northern Israel several times during the attack. Residents are asked to take shelter immediately.
The Israeli military says it shot down an explosive-laden drone from Lebanon. They also shot down at least two more drones in northern Israel. After the attack, several parts of northern Israel caught fire. At least 30 units of fire brigade are working to douse the fire. The Israeli Fire Department said in a statement that they are working hard to reduce the damage caused by the fire.
Israel has been attacking Gaza since October 7 last year. About 36,500 Palestinians have been killed in indiscriminate attacks, most of them women and children. About 83,000 Palestinians were injured.
Hezbollah has announced that it will continue to attack Israel until the killing of Palestinians in Gaza and the bombing of Israel stops. A number of Israelis living in towns near the Lebanese border were evacuated months ago due to escalating fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
