International Desk: At least 19 people have died in the Indian state of Bihar due to intense heat wave. The temperature there exceeded 44 degrees Celsius. At least 12 people lost their lives in Aurangabad in the state. Four people died in Kaimur district, including a worker on election duty on Thursday. On the other hand, three people died in Ara in Bhojpur district due to intense heat wave. News from Economic Times. Doctor Sahil Raj of Kaimur's Mohania sub-district hospital said on Thursday that 40 people have come to the hospital so far suffering from heatstroke.
He said that two people including a poll worker have died. A policeman came to the hospital. He is being treated. Many have been treated and sent home. Many are still undergoing treatment. Satish Kumar Ravi, assistant sub-inspector of Mohania police station, said that the bodies of four people who died of heat stroke have been sent for post-mortem. Bhojpur District Magistrate Mahendra Kumar said that three people have died. One of them is the janitor of the house. He was taken to hospital but could not be saved. Apart from this, a presiding officer on duty in Jagdishpur also died. Officials of the Aurangabad Health Department said that 12 people died there due to the heat wave. 20 people are admitted in different hospitals.
