Terrible tornado in the United States, 18 dead

International Desk: Thousands of homes have been destroyed by tornadoes in four states of the United States. At least 18 people lost their lives. This information was reported in a report by CNN on Monday (May 27).

According to reports, tornadoes caused widespread destruction in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. Of these, seven died in Texas alone.  In addition to casualties, 20,000 families lost power in the state of Texas.

Various structures were damaged by the storm, trees were uprooted. Roads in various areas have been closed. Electricity poles are broken.  The weather department had issued a warning last Saturday evening.

Seven deaths were reported in Cook County, Texas, near the Oklahoma border, officials said. There Saturday night, the tornado wreaked havoc in a rural area near a mobile home park.

The storm also caused extensive damage in Oklahoma. The authorities have issued a state of emergency in the vulnerable areas.
