International Desk: Israel continues to attack the Palestinian territory of Gaza. More than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed so far in this attack that has been going on for more than seven months.

The outrage against Israel is growing worldwide because of this barbaric aggression. There are even accusations that Israel is carrying out genocide in the Gaza Strip. However, US President Joe Biden has taken a strong stand for Israel. He said Israeli forces are not committing genocide and what is happening in Gaza is not genocide.

Reuters reported this information in a report on Tuesday (21 May). According to reports, US President Joe Biden took a strong stand for Israel on Monday. He said Israeli forces are not committing genocide in their military operations in Gaza. Biden has even rejected criticism by pro-Palestinian protesters about Israeli forces' indiscriminate attacks and massacres in Gaza. "What's happening in Gaza is not genocide," he said at a Jewish American Heritage Month event at the White House. We reject it.

Basically, Israel continues to attack the Gaza Strip indiscriminately. More than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed so far in this attack that has been going on for more than seven months. In such a situation, Biden has faced protests from the Palestinians. These protesters called Biden "Genocide Joe" for his steadfast support for Israel.

According to Reuters, at the event at the White House on Monday, Biden brought up the attack by Hamas on October 7 last year and emphasized that Israel itself is a "victim". He said US support for Israeli safety and security is "as solid as ironclads". "We are with Israel to find (Hamas leader Yahya) Sinwar and the rest of Hamas' butchers," he said. We want to defeat Hamas.

We are working with Israel so that Hamas can be defeated. In addition, President Biden called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Biden reiterated this in his commencement speech at Morehouse College last Sunday. Meanwhile, an application for the issuance of an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant for planning and implementing war crimes in Gaza has been submitted to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.

The request was made by the office of the ICC's top prosecutor Karim Asad Ahmed Khan (Karim Khan). However, Biden rejected the request of the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. The ICC prosecutor also said on Monday that he had also applied for arrest warrants against Hamas chief Sinwar and two other Hamas leaders. It should be noted that since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Thousands of buildings including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches have been damaged or destroyed in this Israeli attack. In addition, more than two million residents have been forced to leave their homes due to Israeli aggression. According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, more than 35 thousand 550 people have been killed and more than 80 thousand people have been injured since October 7 of last year as a result of this Israeli attack. Basically the Israeli invasion has reduced Gaza to rubble.

According to the United Nations, about 85 percent of Gaza's Palestinians have been displaced by Israel's brutal offensive. And with acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine, all of Gaza is now food insecure. In addition, 60 percent of the infrastructure in the besieged territory has been damaged or destroyed. Israel has already been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice.
