5 killed in Israeli airstrike after aid distribution in Gaza

International Desk: 5 relief workers of Walled Central Kitchen (WCK) were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Palestine. They were killed in an Israeli airstrike early Tuesday (April 2) after distributing aid in central Gaza. According to the Gaza-control agency, the dead included Australian, Polish, UK and Palestinian aid workers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said an investigation was underway to "understand all the circumstances of the incident." Earlier, Israeli forces killed hundreds of doctors and aid workers in Gaza since the start of the war in the Palestinian territories.

The five aid workers were then killed while delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, despite aid being suspended in the besieged region. Meanwhile, Walled Central Kitchen (WCK) founder Jose Andres called on Israeli forces to stop the "indiscriminate killing" in Gaza. He made this call after the killing of several aid workers.
