Inauguration of 7-day long arms exhibition in Bogra cantonment

Bogra Representative: On the occasion of the celebration of Great Independence and National Day 2024, the inauguration of the 7-day Arms Exhibition 2024 was held at Bogra Cantonment on Sunday morning. In this arms exhibition held under the overall supervision of Area Headquarters Bogra and under the management of 4 Signal Battalions, all the equipment of modernizing and combating the Bangladesh Army, infantry weapons, missiles, modern tanks, artillery guns, engineers, signals, ASC, AMC, Ordnance, EME, etc. Equipment is displayed.

GOC of 11 Infantry Division and Bogra Area Commander, Major General Md. Khaled-Al-Mamun, PBGM, NDC, PSC inaugurated the arms exhibition as the chief guest.

The chief guest at the event remembered with deep respect Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the shaper of Bangladesh's independence, the greatest Bengali of all time and the father of the nation. At this time, he referred to the glorious tradition of Bangladesh Army and its contribution to the service of the motherland and urged the soldiers to be ready to face the tough challenges of the 21st century by acquiring skills through modern and up-to-date training. At the same time, he encouraged himself to devote himself to the service of the motherland. He also said that this weapons exhibition organized by the armed forces will strengthen the relationship between the military and civil administration and the relationship of the armed forces with the common people of the country. Also, through the exhibition of weapons, the current generation will create a positive image about the Bangladesh Army, which will motivate them to serve the country as army personnel in the future.

During the ceremony, senior officers of Bangladesh Army Bogra area, Bogra District Commissioner Md. Saiful Islam, Bogra Superintendent of Police (promoted to the post of Additional DIG) Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty BPM PPM, RAB-12 Bogra Company Commander Mir Monir Monir Hossain and brave freedom fighters of Bogra area. Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, soldiers of other ranks, students of various schools and colleges and invited guests were present.

After the inauguration, GOC of 11 Infantry Division and Bogura Area Commander Khaled Al Mamun visited the stalls of various units of the army in the exhibition along with the guests.
